Little Stars

Little Stars began its work on the West Bank of the River Nile in 2007 and since then has become one of Luxor's most established and respected charities, operating a free nursery school for 45 children, a free surgery for sick and disabled children along with a dentistry. In addition there is a Training Centre for women so that they can learn skills which will help them care for their families.

The work that Little Stars used to do in the villages was curtailed with the military coup over which Little Stars lost a lot of its funding, but although house building was abandoned along with the family sponsorship scheme, food parcels are still distributed every month from the Little Stars centre which is close to Qurna Hospital.

A few years ago the Little Stars work area was extended to cover the United Kingdom and we are pleased to be able to make small grants to cover the cost of equipment or items that will enhance the life of disabled children.

Please consider giving this charity your support. All proceeds from my writing are donated to Little Stars.
